Guided ATV tours in Knik Glacier valley

Alaska Backcountry Adventures, near Palmer

“It’s really fun for families, and up to any age—My mom and I went two summers ago. Go where hardly anyone can go. Craig and his team are great guides, pointing out wildlife and natural features.”
– Karen, Alaska Garden Gate B&B

What You'll Experience

ATV tours in AlaskaHead back into the Knik River valley between the high peaks over Palmer and 6600-foot Pioneer Peak, to landscapes seen by very few people. Ecosystems shift rapidly from brackish tidewater animals like tundra swans to forest/river critters like moose, beavers and eagles, to alpine dwellers like bears and Dall sheep. You really feel "out there." Go as fast or slow as you're comfortable with on your own ATV. Guides take you through rivers, through wooded trails, and right up to the face of the Knik Glacier where you can see the blue ice.
